We are a global biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, manufacturing, and selling new cell therapies for cancer and other diseases. Our team of approximately 2,900 employees operates in the United States, China, and Europe. We develop and manufacture next-generation cell therapies for conditions with significant unmet needs. Our main product candidate, ciltacabtagene autoleucel (also known as cilta-cel or LCAR-B38M for our LEGEND-2 trial), is a CAR-T cell therapy. We are developing this therapy with our partner, Janssen, to treat multiple myeloma (MM). Clinical trials have shown that cilta-cel is the first CAR-T cell therapy to improve overall survival compared to standard treatments in patients with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM), with a manageable safety profile. On February 28, 2022, the FDA approved cilta-cel under the brand name CARVYKTI. It is approved for adults with RRMM who have received four or more prior lines of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent, and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody. In April 2024, the FDA also approved CARVYKTI for patients with RRMM who have received at least one prior line of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor and an immunomodulatory agent, and are resistant to lenalidomide. We have built a sales, marketing, and operational system to support selling CARVYKTI in the United States. On May 25, 2022, the European Commission granted conditional marketing authorization for CARVYKTI to treat adults with RRMM who have received at least three prior therapies, including a proteasome inhibitor (PI), IMiD, and an anti-CD38 antibody, and whose disease has worsened on their last therapy.
