Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Arizona, USA. The company was incorporated on August 20, 2001, and commenced operations in mineral property acquisition and exploration on February 5, 2004. Liberty Star's wholly owned subsidiary, Hay Mountain Holdings, LLC, serves as the primary holding company for developing potential ore bodies in the Hay Mountain area of interest in Arizona. In April 2019, the company formed Earp Ridge Mines LLC, and on August 13, 2020, it formed Red Rock Mines, LLC, an Arizona corporation and wholly owned subsidiary of Hay Mountain Holdings, LLC. Liberty Star is currently in the exploration phase of operations and has not generated any revenues. Its exploration properties, including Earp Ridge, Red Rock Canyon, American Strategic Minerals, and Tombstone/Robbers Roost, are located in Cochise County, Arizona, within or on the flank of the Tombstone caldera structure. The company is currently concentrating its work at Red Rock Canyon and aims to determine if its Hay Mountain claims contain commercially viable deposits of copper, molybdenum, gold, silver, lead, zinc, manganese, and Rare Earth Elements (REE's).
