This segment further includes optical components, jewelry and applied ceramic-related products, and medical devices such as prosthetic joints and dental implants.
The Electronic Components Business segment supplies sensors and control components, along with various electronic components and devices. These include capacitors, crystal devices, connectors, and power semiconductor devices, which are utilized across information and communications, industrial equipment, automotive, and consumer-related markets.
The Solutions Business segment offers cutting tools, as well as pneumatic and power tools for automotive-related, general industrial, and construction markets. It also provides printers for commercial and industrial uses, communication terminals like mobile phones, and various solution services, ICT solutions, and engineering services. Additionally, this segment includes MFPs, commercial inkjet printers, communication modules, displays, printing devices, smart energy-related products and services, and document management systems.
KYOCERA CORP was incorporated in 1946 as Kyoto Ceramic Kabushiki Kaisha and changed its name to Kyocera Corporation in 1982. The company is headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.
