Kyntra Bio, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing new treatments for cancer and anemia. The company rebranded from "FibroGen, Inc." to "Kyntra Bio, Inc." in January 2026, with its common stock trading under the Nasdaq symbol "KYNB" starting January 8, 2026. Kyntra Bio is developing FG-3246, an antibody-drug conjugate targeting CD46, for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and other cancers. This program also includes FG-3180, a CD46-targeted PET biomarker and imaging agent. A Phase 2 monotherapy dose optimization study for FG-3246 in mCRPC, with an exploratory sub-study of FG-3180, began in the third quarter of 2025. Kyntra Bio and its partners developed roxadustat (爱瑞卓 ® , EVRENZO TM ), which is approved in Europe, Japan, the People's Republic of China (China), and other countries for treating anemia in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, both on and not on dialysis. On August 29, 2025, Kyntra Bio sold its China operations, including FibroGen International (Hong Kong) Ltd. and its subsidiary FibroGen (China) Medical Technology Development Co., Ltd., along with its 51.1% interest in Beijing Falikang Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., to AstraZeneca Treasury Limited for $220.4 million. This consideration included $85.0 million in enterprise value and $135.4 million in net cash held in China. AstraZeneca AB was the commercialization partner for roxadustat in greater China. Kyntra Bio retains roxadustat rights in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and all markets not held by AstraZeneca or licensed to Astellas Pharma Inc.
