We are a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative oral medicines to treat human diseases. We aim to advance novel technologies to target disease-causing biology that has not been adequately addressed by existing treatments. Our approach is designed to discover and develop new medicines in a disease-agnostic manner. We are a leader in targeted protein degradation (TPD), a small molecule therapeutic method that uses the body's natural cellular recycling system to eliminate disease-causing proteins. Our goal is to develop potent and highly selective molecules to address diseases poorly served by current treatments. We have advanced multiple programs into clinical development and expect to advance at least one new molecular entity into clinical testing annually. We intend to become a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company with a pipeline of novel medicines. Our current discovery and development efforts primarily focus on high-value targets in immunology. We believe over 160 million patients in the United States, Europe, and Japan are diagnosed with prevalent immune-inflammatory diseases that our programs could address, with nearly half remaining untreated. Most treated patients receive therapies that address symptoms rather than underlying diseases. Approximately 3% of the diagnosed population with moderate to severe inflammatory diseases are currently treated with systemic advanced therapies, mostly injectable biologics. Biologics, while generally effective, are more expensive to manufacture, and patient access can be challenging due to prescription and reimbursement complexities compared to small molecule medicines.
