We are a fully integrated, global, commercial-stage biotechnology company specializing in genetic medicines for diseases with high unmet medical needs. We discover, develop, manufacture, and commercialize these medicines using our patented gene therapy technology platform, which is based on engineered herpes simplex virus-1 ("HSV-1"). This platform creates vectors that efficiently deliver therapeutic transgenes to target cells in various organ systems, allowing the cell's machinery to produce the necessary treatment. Our vectors can be administered non-invasively or minimally invasively in a healthcare professional's office or at home by a professional, caregiver, or patient. Our operations are supported by two in-house, commercial-scale Current Good Manufacturing Practice ("CGMP") manufacturing facilities. Our first commercial product, VYJUVEK®, is approved in the United States, the European Union ("EU"), and Japan for treating dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa ("DEB"). We launched VYJUVEK in the United States in 2023 and began its launch in Europe and Japan in 2025. Our development pipeline includes multiple clinical-stage product candidates for rare and serious diseases, and we are investing in research and development to expand this pipeline. We hold exclusive worldwide rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize VYJUVEK and our pipeline candidates. While primarily focused on rare diseases, we are also exploring our platform's potential for more common severe or life-threatening conditions like non-small cell lung cancer ("NSCLC"), and aesthetic conditions through our wholly-owned subsidiary, Jeune Aesthetics, Inc., incorporated in April 2019.
