Karat Packaging Inc. is a rapidly-growing distributor and manufacturer of disposable foodservice products and related items. The company offers food and take-out containers, bags, boxes, tableware, cups, lids, cutlery, straws, specialty beverage ingredients, gloves, and janitorial supplies. These products are available in plastic, paper, biopolymer-based, and other compostable forms. Karat also provides customized solutions, including new product development, design, printing, and logistics services to both large and small customers. The majority of Karat's revenue comes from distributing products sourced from a global network of nearly 150 vendors. This is complemented by select manufacturing capabilities in the U.S. The company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Lollicup USA Inc., was incorporated in California in 2001 and redomesticated to Texas in October 2025. Karat also has an equity interest in and controls Global Wells Investment Group LLC, a consolidated variable interest entity.
