Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad Group (KLK) is a Malaysian multinational company that began as a plantation company in 1906. The Group's core business continues to be the development of oil palm and rubber plantations. KLK currently manages approximately 300,000 hectares of planted area, with 98% dedicated to oil palm, across Malaysia (Peninsular and Sabah), Indonesia (Belitung Island, Sumatra, and Kalimantan), and Liberia.
To enhance value across its supply chain, KLK has diversified into resource-based manufacturing, including refinery and oleochemical operations, vertically integrating its upstream, midstream, and downstream businesses. The Group's manufacturing presence extends internationally, with oleochemical operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Europe.
Since 1990, KLK has also ventured into property development through KLK Land, leveraging the strategic locations of its landbank in Peninsular Malaysia. Its current property focus includes township developments like Bandar Seri Coalfields in Sungai Buloh and Caledonia in Ijok, Selangor. In 2024, KLK entered industrial development through a joint venture in Ijok, Selangor, and introduced the KLK TechPark series in Tanjong Malim, Perak, in 2025. The company also has interests in retailing, specifically personal care products, toiletries, and fine foods.
