For the years ended December 31, 2025 and 2024, 98.0% and 96.0% of KICO's direct written premiums, respectively, originated from New York policies. Additionally, through its subsidiary, Cosi Agency, Inc. (Cosi), a multi-state licensed general agency, the company accesses alternative distribution channels. Cosi earns commission revenue from KICO for policies it places and pays commissions to other agencies, retaining the profit between the commission revenue received and the commission expense paid. On February 5, 2025, a subsidiary entered into a contract to sell its headquarters building in Kingston, New York, and an adjacent mixed-use property to Ulster County, New York, for $3,600,000. The sale closed on March 19, 2025. In 2025, the company made two additional prepayments on its 13.75% Senior Notes due June 30, 2026.
