iRhythm is a digital healthcare company focused on solutions for detecting, predicting, and preventing disease. The company's main business involves designing, developing, and selling device-based technology for ambulatory cardiac monitoring services. These services aim to help clinicians diagnose certain arrhythmias more quickly and efficiently than traditional methods. Each iRhythm product combines a wire-free, patch-based, 14-day wearable biosensor, which is cleared by the United States Food and Drug Administration ("FDA"), marked with Conformité Européenne ("CE"), and approved by the Japan Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency ("PMDA") as applicable. This biosensor continuously records electrocardiogram ("ECG") data and works with a proprietary cloud-based data analytic software, also FDA-cleared, CE-marked, and Japan PMDA-approved as applicable. Together, this biosensor and software form an "iRhythm ACM System" used by physicians to monitor patients and diagnose arrhythmias. Since receiving FDA clearance for its technology in 2009, iRhythm has provided ambulatory cardiac monitoring ("ACM") services, including long-term continuous monitoring ("LTCM") services and mobile cardiac telemetry ("MCT") monitoring services, from its Medicare-enrolled independent diagnostic testing facilities ("IDTFs") with qualified technicians. These services are typically ordered by physicians for patients suspected of having infrequent, difficult-to-detect, or asymptomatic arrhythmias. Since FDA clearance, iRhythm has provided over twelve million patient reports and collected almost three billion hours of curated heartbeat data. iRhythm Technologies was incorporated in Delaware in September 2006, and its successor registrant, iRhythm Holdings, was incorporated in Delaware in December 2025. As of December 31, 2025, the company employs approximately 2,400 regular full-time employees.
