ARIKAYCE (amikacin liposome inhalation suspension) is approved in the US, in Europe as ARIKAYCE Liposomal 590 mg Nebuliser Dispersion, and in Japan as ARIKAYCE inhalation 590mg (amikacin sulfate inhalation drug product). In the US, ARIKAYCE received accelerated approval in September 2018 for treating MAC lung disease as part of a combination antibacterial drug regimen for adult patients with limited or no alternative treatment options in a refractory setting. The European Commission (EC) approved ARIKAYCE Liposomal in October 2020 for nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) lung infections caused by MAC in adults with limited treatment options who do not have cystic fibrosis (CF). Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) approved ARIKAYCE in March 2021 for NTM lung disease caused by MAC in patients who did not sufficiently respond to prior multidrug treatment. MAC lung disease is a rare, often chronic infection that can cause irreversible lung damage and can be fatal. BRINSUPRI (brensocatib 25 mg and 10 mg tablets) is an oral, once-daily treatment for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFB) in patients 12 years of age and older. It was approved in the US in August 2025. In November 2025, the EC approved BRINSUPRI (brensocatib 25 mg tablets) for NCFB in patients 12 years of age and older with two or more exacerbations in the prior 12 months.
