We are a pharmaceutical company focused on developing proprietary small molecule drug candidates. These candidates are designed to interact preferentially with CB1 and CB2 receptors, which are part of the endocannabinoid system found throughout the human body, as well as other receptor targets linked to human diseases. CB1 receptors are mainly in the brain and central nervous system, while CB2 receptors help regulate neuroinflammation and immune responses. Our research aims to treat diseases with significant unmet medical needs. Through our wholly owned subsidiary, BayMedica, LLC, we also possess expertise in developing proprietary manufacturing methods to produce and sell bulk rare cannabinoids. These cannabinoids serve as ingredients for various market sectors. We concentrate on the research and development of preferential signaling ligands for CB1 and CB2, and have created a library of novel, proprietary drug candidates. These candidates are patentable new chemical entities intended for pharmaceutical development across diverse clinical indications. Our current potential pharmaceutical pipeline includes three programs. These programs feature drug candidates targeting Alzheimer's disease, dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration (dry AMD), and Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Our INM-901 is a proprietary small molecule, disease-modifying drug candidate being developed as a potential treatment for Alzheimer's disease. INM-901 acts as a preferential signaling agonist for both CB1 and CB2 receptors and also impacts the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) signaling pathway. Our ocular research, based on the proprietary small molecule INM-089, indicates potential neuroprotective effects in the back of the eye, which may help preserve retinal function.
