General Independent Bank Corp. is a state-chartered, federally registered bank holding company incorporated in Massachusetts in 1985 and headquartered in Rockland, Massachusetts. The Company's sole subsidiary is Rockland Trust Company, a Massachusetts trust company chartered in 1907, which serves as its only reportable operating segment. Rockland Trust provides a wide range of banking, investment, and financial services. It operates with over 150 retail branches, a network of commercial and residential lending centers, and investment management offices. These operations are primarily located in Eastern Massachusetts, Worcester County, southern New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. Rockland Trust also offers mobile, online, and telephone banking services. As of December 31, 2025, the Company reported total assets of $24.9 billion, total deposits of $20.1 billion, and stockholders' equity of $3.6 billion. On July 1, 2025, the Company acquired Enterprise Bancorp, Inc. for a total consideration of $503.1 million, consisting of $477.2 million in Company common stock (7,478,906 shares) and $25.9 million in cash.
