The Australian subsidiary, Intelligent Bio Solutions (APAC) Pty Ltd, was formed on August 4, 2016, in New South Wales, Australia, and renamed on January 6, 2023. On October 4, 2022, the company acquired Intelligent Fingerprinting Limited ("IFP"), registered in England and Wales. The company's primary product is the Intelligent Fingerprinting Platform. This platform uses a portable system to analyze fingerprint sweat with a one-time cartridge and a handheld reader. The flagship product from this platform is the Intelligent Fingerprinting Drug Screening System (the "IFP System" or "IFP Products"), which is commercially available in certain countries outside the United States. This two-part system uses non-invasive, fingerprint sweat-based diagnostic tests to detect drugs of abuse, including opiates, cocaine, methamphetamines, benzodiazepines, cannabis, methadone, and buprenorphine. The IFP System involves collecting ten fingerprint sweat samples on a tamper-evident cartridge in under a minute, with results displayed on a portable analysis unit in under ten minutes. Samples can also be sent to a third-party laboratory for confirmation testing using a confirmatory kit. Customers for the IFP System include safety-critical industries such as construction, transportation and logistics, mining, manufacturing, engineering, drug treatment organizations in the rehabilitation sector, and judicial organizations.
