IEH Corporation, founded in New York, New York in 1941 and incorporated in March 1943, designs and manufactures Hyperboloid connectors and contacts. The company acquired a license to produce Hyperboloid sockets in the late 1960s and began making printed circuit board (PCB) connectors for the defense and aerospace industries, adhering to the MIL-DTL-55302 military specification. IEH is a leader in Hyperboloid connectors and contacts, which have been in use for nearly 50 years. These connectors are utilized in demanding applications such as avionics platforms, military and commercial aerospace equipment, engine control systems, missiles and torpedoes, vehicular electronics, satellites and rocket launchers, medical devices, industrial and environmental controls, test equipment, and pin grid array (PGA) sockets. IEH's Hyperboloid connectors are designed to meet and exceed military and aerospace specification standards. The company serves customers in the United States and internationally, including defense contractors, commercial aerospace equipment manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, oil and gas exploration firms, and commercial space launch companies. IEH sells its products both directly and through distributors. The company is family-managed, with Louis Offerman's great-grandson, Mr. David Offerman, serving as President and Chief Executive Officer.
