The company operates primarily through three reportable business segments: Companion Animal Group, Water quality products, and Livestock, Poultry and Dairy. Its Other operating segment combines human medical diagnostic products with out-licensing arrangements. The Companion Animal Group (CAG) segment provides diagnostic and information management products and services for the companion animal veterinary industry, including point-of-care diagnostic solutions, outside reference laboratory services, and veterinary software and services. CAG Diagnostics offers diagnostic capabilities through various modalities, including point-of-care diagnostic solutions and outside reference laboratory services. Its point-of-care diagnostic solutions include the IDEXX VetLab suite of point-of-care chemistry, hematology, immunoassay, electrolyte, urinalysis, cytology/morphology, blood gas, and coagulation analyzers, along with associated consumable products.
