In November 2019, it acquired Pursuit Vascular, Inc., a medical device company focused on catheter disinfecting products, with its primary product being the ClearGuard ® HD cap for hemodialysis catheter maintenance. In January 2022, ICU Medical acquired Smiths Medical 2020 Limited, the global medical device business of Smiths Group plc, which added syringe and ambulatory infusion devices, vascular access, and vital care products.
