These MDLE Plants are designed to help owners of lithium brine deposits extract lithium chloride at concentrations and purities sufficient to economically produce Lithium Carbonate, a key component in battery manufacturing. The company's MDLE Plants are modular, allowing them to be deployed and redeployed at different brine deposits once a resource source is depleted. They are also scalable, with a component-driven system that allows for customization of valves, pumps, proprietary columns, media, and other parts to meet specific customer requirements. Multiple MDLE Plants can be linked to scale operations and output of lithium chloride according to customer specifications. The proprietary absorption extraction process is designed to be an environmentally responsible, low-cost method for producing high-quality commercial grade lithium chloride products. These include salar or salt lake brine deposits, such as those in the Lithium Triangle (Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia), brine reservoirs in the US and Canada (including in North Dakota, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Utah, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and Texas, specifically the Smackover geological formation), and other naturally occurring lithium brine deposits worldwide. The company also plans to market its technology to industrial customers with lithium-rich brine by-products from their operations. While the initial MDLE Plant ("Initial MDLE Plant") was designed for potential customers in the Lithium Triangle, the company believes that US owners of brine reservoirs, particularly within the Smackover geological formation in Arkansas and Texas, are currently best positioned to benefit from its Initial MDLE Plant.
