The company's hydrogen panel encases multiple hydrogen reactors immersed in water, with each generator autonomously splitting water. SunHydrogen believes its process is more economical than traditional water electrolysis for hydrogen production because it uses only sunlight for power and incorporates efficient, commercially proven materials. The company's technology seeks to address challenges in the hydrogen future, such as production and transportation costs, as many fossil fuel-based hydrogen producers transport their product over long distances, incurring high carbon footprints and substantial capital costs.
