During fiscal year 2026, H&R Block prepared 11.3 million U.S. assisted tax returns, defined as current or prior year individual or business tax returns, including virtual returns, signed by a tax professional and accepted by the client. Clients also filed 3.6 million DIY online paid tax returns, defined as current year individual or business tax returns prepared by the client on the DIY online platform using a paid product and accepted by the client. These activities contributed to consolidated revenues of $3.95 billion, net income from continuing operations of $736.3 million, EBITDA from continuing operations of $1.06 billion, and diluted EPS from continuing operations of $5.69 per share. The company repurchased 10.5 million shares of common stock and declared dividends of $1.68 per share, an increase of $0.18, or 12.0%, per share from the prior year. H&R Block offers assisted and do-it-yourself (DIY) tax preparation solutions through various channels, including in-person, online and mobile applications, virtual, and desktop software.
