Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. (HHH) is a holding company that operates through its real estate development subsidiary, The Howard Hughes Corporation (HHC). HHC manages a large-scale, mixed-use real estate platform, focusing on developing master planned communities (MPCs), investing in strategic real estate development opportunities, and owning and operating income-producing properties. The company's portfolio includes approximately 101,000 gross acres of MPCs across five states. In 2025, HHH began a long-term strategy to transition from a pure-play real estate company to a diversified holding company. On May 5, 2025, HHH sold 9,000,000 newly issued shares of its common stock to Pershing Square for $900 million. On December 18, 2025, HHH announced an agreement to acquire 100% of Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. (Vantage), a privately held specialty insurance and reinsurance company, for approximately $2.1 billion in cash. This transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, with an expected close in the second quarter of 2026.
