HCI Group, Inc. was incorporated in Florida in 2006 and its common stock is listed on the NYSE under the symbol "HCI." In February 2024, Condo Owners Reciprocal Exchange (CORE), a consolidated reciprocal insurance exchange providing commercial residential multiple peril insurance, commenced business operations. In July 2024, TypTap Insurance Company (TTIC), a property and casualty insurance carrier subsidiary, was transferred from Exzeo to HCI Group, Inc.
