We are a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on treating blood cancer. Our primary product is RYTELO® (imetelstat), a telomerase inhibitor. RYTELO was commercially launched in the U.S. in June 2024, following its approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on June 6, 2024. It is approved for adult patients with low- to intermediate-1 risk myelodysplastic syndromes (lower-risk MDS) who have transfusion-dependent (TD) anemia, requiring four or more red blood cell units over eight weeks, and who have not responded to, lost response to, or are ineligible for erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs). Lower-risk MDS is a progressive blood cancer where patients often become dependent on red blood cell transfusions. We believe the results of our Phase 3 clinical trial, IMerge, in LR-MDS, along with the FDA label and National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN®) Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®), position RYTELO to compete in significant market segments within lower-risk MDS. This includes second-line ESA ineligible patients, regardless of prior treatment or RS status, and first-line ESA ineligible patients. In March 2025, the European Commission (EC) approved RYTELO for adults with TD anemia due to lower-risk MDS without an isolated deletion 5q cytogenetic (non-del 5q) abnormality, who had an unsatisfactory response to or are ineligible for ESAs. RYTELO is the first and only telomerase inhibitor approved by the EC, with marketing authorization covering all 27 European Union member states, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein. We are working to make RYTELO available to eligible LR-MDS patients outside of the U.S., including in the EU.
