GEG is a publicly-traded alternative asset management company that builds a scalable and diversified portfolio of long-duration and permanent capital vehicles. The company focuses on credit, real estate, specialty finance, and other alternative strategies. GEG's wholly-owned subsidiary, GECM, is a registered investment adviser that provides investment management services to GECC and other private funds. Another wholly-owned subsidiary, MCRE, provides investment management services to Monomoy UpREIT. As of June 30, 2025, the combined assets under management for these entities was approximately $758.5 million. GECC, established in 2016, operates as a business development company (BDC). GEG owns approximately 12.4% of GECC's shares as of June 30, 2025. Monomoy UpREIT is the operating partnership of Monomoy Properties REIT, LLC, which was formed in 2014 to build a portfolio of single-tenant Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) focused on net leased assets, specifically Class B & C warehouse, distribution & light manufacturing assets. GEG acquired the investment management agreement of Monomoy UpREIT in May 2022 and owns approximately 5.1% of Monomoy UpREIT and approximately 4.0% of Monomoy Properties REIT, LLC. GECM and MCRE generate revenue through investment management agreements, earning management fees, property management fees, incentive fees, and/or administration fees, typically based on assets under management, rent collected, investment performance, and allocable expenses. In January 2023, Monomoy BTS Corporation (MBTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary, purchased land parcels in Mississippi and Florida.
