We are a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on creating new cell-based immunotherapies to treat human cancers and degenerative diseases. Our technologies are inspired by the success of existing CAR-T cells in treating blood cancers, while addressing the limitations of applying CAR-T to solid tumors. We believe cellular immunotherapy is becoming a key part of cancer care, but current CAR-T principles are challenging to apply to other cancers, especially solid tumors. This is due to reliance on limited patient cell quality and quantity, lack of suitable surface cancer antigens and recognition systems, and the risk of cancer escaping a single antigen-targeting strategy. To overcome these challenges, we have developed two new platform technologies to manufacture "off-the-shelf" cell-based cancer immunotherapies that do not depend on patient blood cells. One platform uses healthy donor blood cells, and the other uses iPSC. These platforms and resulting product candidates utilize the multiple antigen recognition systems of NK cells and gamma delta T cells to recognize and treat a broad range of cancers. Based on these licensed proprietary platform technologies, we are developing four cellular immunotherapy product candidates: CTM-N2D, iPSC-gdNKT, CTM-GDT, and CTM-NK. CTM-N2D is our lead product candidate, consisting of expanded gamma delta T cells grafted with NKG2DL-targeting CAR to enhance anti-cancer cytotoxicity.
