Selectis Health, Inc. owns and operates Assisted Living Facilities, Independent Living Facilities, and Skilled Nursing Facilities through its wholly-owned subsidiaries across the South and Southeastern U.S. In 2019, the Company transitioned from leasing long-term care facilities to third-party operators to an owner-operator model. The Company acquires, develops, leases, and manages healthcare real estate, provides financing to healthcare providers, and conducts healthcare operations through its subsidiaries. Its portfolio includes investments in senior housing, encompassing independent and assisted living, and post-acute/skilled nursing. Selectis Health makes investments using six methods: direct ownership of properties, debt investments, developments and redevelopments, investment management, investments in senior housing operations utilizing the structure permitted by the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 ("RIDEA"), and owning healthcare operations. The Company was known as Global Healthcare REIT, Inc. from September 30, 2013, to May 2021, and rebranded to Selectis Health, Inc. in September 2021. Prior to September 30, 2013, it was known as Global Casinos, Inc., which operated two gaming casinos that were split-off and sold on that date. Simultaneously, the Company acquired West Paces Ferry Healthcare REIT, Inc. ("WPF"), which merged into the Company in 2019.
