Liberty Media Corporation is primarily involved in the motorsport and live entertainment industries. The company operates globally, with its main operations based in the United Kingdom and Spain. Its most significant subsidiaries are Delta Topco Limited, which is the parent company of Formula 1, and MotoGP. The company previously used a tracking stock structure, where different stock types were intended to reflect the performance of specific business groups rather than the entire company. Liberty Media has completed several transactions to separate certain businesses into independent publicly traded companies. On July 18, 2023, the company completed the split-off of its wholly owned subsidiary, Atlanta Braves Holdings, Inc. This transaction involved exchanging each outstanding share of Liberty Braves common stock for one share of the corresponding series of Atlanta Braves Holdings common stock. Atlanta Braves Holdings included the businesses, assets, and liabilities previously associated with the Liberty Braves Group, excluding intergroup interests attributed to the Liberty SiriusXM Group and the Formula One Group, which were settled. Sirius XM Holdings Inc. was a subsidiary until its split-off on September 9, 2024. QuintEvents, LLC was a subsidiary, and Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. was an equity affiliate until the Liberty Live Split-Off on December 15, 2025.
