FVCBankcorp, Inc. is a registered bank holding company based in Fairfax, Virginia, operating primarily through its sole subsidiary, FVCbank. FVCbank is a community-oriented commercial bank organized under Virginia law, serving commercial businesses, nonprofit organizations, professional service entities, and their owners and employees. The company focuses on the greater Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metropolitan areas. Established as the holding company for the Bank in 2015, FVCbank began operations in November 2007 and has grown organically through new branch expansion, banker and customer acquisition, and two whole-bank acquisitions. In 2012, FVCBankcorp acquired 1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia, a $58.9 million asset savings and loan association in Arlington, Virginia. On October 12, 2018, it acquired Colombo Bank, headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, adding locations in Washington, D.C., Montgomery County, and the City of Baltimore in Maryland. On August 31, 2021, FVCbank invested $20.4 million to obtain a 28.7% ownership interest in Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC (ACM). The Bank provides a warehouse lending facility to ACM, including a construction-to-permanent financing line, and has developed portfolio mortgage products. The company operates in the Washington and Baltimore Metropolitan Statistical Areas, specifically in Virginia counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William, their independent cities, Washington, D.C., its Maryland suburbs, and Baltimore, Maryland, and its surrounding suburbs. As of June 30, 2025, the Washington MSA had total deposits of $314.7 billion and the Baltimore MSA had total deposits of $101.8 billion.
