F&G Annuities & Life, Inc.

F&G, founded in 1959, is a provider of insurance solutions for retail annuity and life customers and institutional clients. As of December 31, 2025, F&G serves approximately 778,000 policyholders with fixed annuity and life insurance products. The company also serves approximately 145,000 plan participants who receive pension payments through its pension risk transfer solutions. Through its insurance subsidiaries, including Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company and Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company of New York, F&G markets a portfolio of annuities, such as fixed indexed annuities, registered index-linked annuities (together referred to as "indexed annuities"), and multi-year guarantee annuities. It also offers pension risk transfer solutions, indexed universal life insurance, and institutional funding agreements. F&G was acquired by Fidelity National Financial, Inc. on June 1, 2020. Since the acquisition, its financial strength ratings have been upgraded: S&P and Fitch to A- in June 2020, Moody's to A3 in July 2023, and A.M. Best to A in January 2024. Gross sales increased from $4.5 billion for the full year 2020 to $14.6 billion in 2025. Assets under management grew from $26.5 billion at the time of acquisition to $57.6 billion as of December 31, 2025. F&G now operates in and sources significant premiums from three distinct retail channels and two institutional markets, compared to a single channel prior to the June 2020 acquisition.
