Expensify is a cloud-based expense management software platform that assists businesses of all sizes in simplifying money management. Individuals in organizations globally use Expensify daily to scan and reimburse receipts for flights, hotels, coffee shops, office supplies, and ride shares. Since its founding in 2008, Expensify has grown to over 15 million members in its community and, as of December 31, 2025, has processed and automated over 1.8 billion expense transactions on its platform. For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, an average of 650,000 paid members across an average of 39,700 companies in over 200 countries and territories utilized Expensify. Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are a significant part of the global economy, representing nearly all businesses and most employment in Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member countries. Many SMBs still use manual, inefficient methods for critical back-office functions, including expense management, which involves collecting, processing, auditing, and reimbursing employee expenses.
