The Company, incorporated in the Cayman Islands on July 5, 2022, serves as the investment holding and listing vehicle for a group that began in 1998 with ECSL, an energy consulting firm. In 2000, GAI, a former operating subsidiary, was established in Hong Kong as a technology company after acquiring a German patented invention called Save It Easy. This product was a do-it-yourself conversion unit for T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes in conventional fixtures. Mr. Michael Lau, an executive director and Chief Technology Officer, was a founding member of GAI and worked on commercializing Save It Easy and its patent registrations in over fifty countries. ECSL transitioned from consulting to a product and solution provider by distributing Save It Easy. Around 2012, Save It Easy products faced competition from rapidly maturing LED technology, leading EGHL, EGL(UK), and ECSL to source LED products. By 2015, after three years of challenges with inferior LED products, the Group began designing its own LED lighting products and developing its own high-quality brand, focusing on competitive pricing and customization. The Group has since expanded its offerings to include other carbon reduction solutions such as boiler optimization, valve wrap, low carbon heating, combined heat and power, indoor air quality, and 24/7 energy monitoring and reporting. At incorporation, the Company's authorized share capital was 300,000,000 Ordinary Shares and 300,000 Preferred Shares, both with a par value of $0.0001.
