Enbridge is a North American energy infrastructure company with common shares trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol ENB. The company was incorporated on April 13, 1970, and continued under the Canada Business Corporations Act on December 15, 1987. Enbridge operates through four core businesses. Liquids Pipelines involves pipelines and terminals in Canada and the US for transporting, storing, and exporting various grades of crude oil and other liquid hydrocarbons. Gas Transmission includes investments in natural gas pipelines and gathering, processing, and storage facilities across Canada and the US. Gas Distribution and Storage consists of natural gas utility operations serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Canada and the US. Renewable Power Generation primarily involves investments in wind and solar power generation facilities, as well as geothermal assets, located in North America and Europe. The company's assets are supported by long-term contracts, regulated cost-of-service tolling frameworks, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and other low-risk commercial arrangements.
