The company primarily invests in junior debt tranches of collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) that are backed by portfolios of primarily below investment grade U.S. senior secured loans. These CLOs consist of a large number of distinct underlying borrowers across various industry sectors. Eagle Point Income Company Inc. may also invest up to 35% of its total assets in CLO equity securities and other related instruments. The company is externally managed and advised by Eagle Point Income Management LLC, an affiliate of Eagle Point Credit Management LLC. Eagle Point manages capital for institutional, high-net-worth, and retail investors through various investment vehicles, including private funds, separately managed accounts, and publicly-listed closed-end vehicles.
