ECARX Holdings Inc.

ECARX Holdings is a Cayman Islands holding company that conducts its operations in China through its PRC subsidiaries. The company was incorporated on November 12, 2019. Prior to 2022, operations in China were also conducted through Hubei ECARX, a former Variable Interest Entity (VIE). In early 2022, ECARX Holdings restructured its company, eliminating its VIE structure. On December 20, 2022, the company completed a business combination with COVA. The following day, December 21, 2022, its Class A Ordinary Shares and Warrants began trading on The Nasdaq Global Market under the symbols "ECX" and "ECXWW," respectively. In June 2023, ECARX Holdings increased its equity interest in JICA Intelligent, a technology company focused on intelligent automotive products, from 50% to 70%. JICA Intelligent provides comprehensive research and development for autonomous driving, including intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving, peripheral products, sensor perception, decision-making algorithms, vehicle control strategies, underlying systems, hardware development, and test verification. In November 2023, ECARX Holdings entered into a three-year strategic cooperation agreement and licensing agreement with Hubei Xingji Meizu Group Co., Ltd. (Xingji Meizu) to collaborate on the development and commercialization of Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit solutions.
