Everus Construction Group, Inc. is a leading construction solutions provider headquartered in Bismarck, North Dakota, offering specialty contracting services across the United States. The company operates through two reportable segments: Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) and Transmission & Distribution (T&D). Everus became an independent, publicly traded company on October 31, 2024, following a tax-free spinoff from MDU Resources Group, Inc. Prior to the Separation, Everus Construction, Inc. (formerly MDU Construction Services Group, Inc.) was the construction services segment of MDU Resources. On November 2, 2023, MDU Resources announced its intent to pursue this separation. In anticipation, MDU Resources formed Everus Construction Group, Inc. as the new parent company for Everus Construction. The Separation was completed by transferring Everus Construction, including all its assets and liabilities, to Everus and distributing 100% of Everus' outstanding common stock to MDU Resources shareholders of record as of October 21, 2024. Everus is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "ECG."
