The Offshore segment is responsible for owning, developing, constructing, and operating offshore wind farms across Europe, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region. The Onshore segment focuses on owning, developing, constructing, and operating onshore wind and solar farms in the United States, which includes integrated storage solutions. The Bioenergy & Other segment generates heat and power and provides ancillary services from its CHP plants located in Denmark. This segment also manages the company's gas portfolio optimization and oversees its Danish and Swedish business-to-business (B2B) operations. Ørsted A/S was incorporated in 1972 and is headquartered in Fredericia, Denmark. The company changed its name from DONG Energy A/S to Ørsted A/S in November 2017.
