Duluth Holdings Inc. is a lifestyle brand offering men's and women's workwear, casual wear, outdoor apparel, and accessories. The company primarily sells its products nationwide through its own omnichannel platform, which includes its website and retail stores. As of February 1, 2026, Duluth Trading operated 63 retail stores and three outlet stores. The company began its omnichannel platform in 2010 with the opening of its first store. Duluth Trading was founded in 1989 by two brothers who invented the Bucket Boss®, a durable canvas tool organizer designed for drywall buckets. This invention led to the launch of a catalog, which became Duluth Trading Company, focused on improving tool storage and organization. In December 2000, GEMPLER'S Inc., an agricultural and horticultural supply catalog business, acquired Duluth Trading, combining the two mail-order companies. In February 2003, the GEMPLER's catalog business was sold to W.W. Grainger, and the proceeds funded Duluth Trading's growth. Following this transaction, GEMPLER'S changed its corporate name to Duluth Holdings Inc. Fiscal year 2025 was a 52-week period, and fiscal year 2024 was a 53-week period.
