Ducommun is the successor to a business founded in California in 1849 and reincorporated in Delaware in 1970. For example, in April 2023, Ducommun acquired 100% of BLR Aerospace L.L.C. (BLR), a provider of aerodynamic systems for commercial and military rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. The initial purchase price for BLR was $115.0 million, net of cash acquired, with a gross aggregate of $117.0 million paid in cash at closing using the 2022 Revolving Credit Facility.
