We are a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and selling new muscle activators and inhibitors to treat debilitating diseases where muscle performance is compromised or declining. We have developed muscle-targeted investigational medicines that may improve the healthspan of individuals with severe cardiovascular and neuromuscular diseases involving impaired muscle function. Our first commercial product is MYQORZO™ (aficamten), available in 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, and 20 mg tablets. The FDA approved MYQORZO in December 2025. MYQORZO is a reversible inhibitor of cardiac myosin motor activity. Its approval included a risk evaluation and mitigation strategy (REMS) program to ensure its benefits outweigh the risk of heart failure due to systolic dysfunction. In patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM), MYQORZO reduces cardiac contractility and left ventricular outflow tract obstruction. MYQORZO became available for prescription around January 27, 2026. Additionally, in February 2026, the European Commission approved MYQORZO® (aficamten), 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, and 20 mg tablets, for treating symptomatic (New York Heart Association, NYHA, class II-III) oHCM in adult patients. In December 2025, the China National Medical Products Administration also approved MYQORZO for treating adults with (New York Heart Association class II-III) oHCM to improve exercise capacity and symptoms. Beyond MYQORZO, we are investing in investigational products at discovery, preclinical, and clinical stages. All our research and development activities focus on muscle function biology, stemming from our expertise in the cytoskeleton. We are discovering and developing small molecule drug candidates designed to impact muscle function and contractility to build a sustainable specialty biopharmaceutical business.
