Clearway Energy, Inc. is a publicly-traded energy infrastructure investor focused on clean energy and owner of modern, sustainable, and long-term contracted assets across North America. Formed as a Delaware corporation on December 20, 2012, the company is sponsored by Clearway Energy Group LLC (CEG). Clearway Energy is one of the largest owners of clean energy generation assets in the U.S. Its portfolio includes approximately 12.9 GW of gross capacity across 27 states. This capacity comprises approximately 10.1 GW from wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS), and approximately 2.8 GW from dispatchable combustion-based power generation assets within the Flexible Generation segment, which provide critical grid reliability services. In 2025, 98% of the company's total generation came from renewable energy and storage assets. The majority of Clearway Energy's revenues come from long-term contractual arrangements for the output or capacity of these assets. As of December 31, 2025, the weighted average remaining contract duration for the Renewables & Storage segment's offtake agreements was approximately 12 years, based on CAFD. Clearway Energy, Inc. is the sole managing member of Clearway Energy LLC, operating and controlling its business and affairs and consolidating its financial results. Clearway Energy LLC is a holding company for the entities that directly and indirectly own and operate the company's assets.
