Cuprina Holdings is a Singapore-based biomedical and biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing innovative products for chronic wound management and operating in the health and beauty sector. The company utilizes its biomedical research expertise to identify and use naturally derived materials to develop medical device wound care products that meet international standards. As of December 31, 2025, Cuprina Holdings manufactured and distributed a line of medical grade sterile blowfly larvae bio-dressing products marketed under the MEDIFLY brand name. These MEDIFLY products are used as a biological debridement tool for chronic wounds in a procedure known as Maggot Debridement Therapy (MDT). In addition to the commercialized MEDIFLY products, Cuprina Holdings has three lines of chronic wound care products in its pipeline. These include Collagen dressings, such as sponges, particles, and hydrogels, which utilize bullfrog collagen derived from American bullfrog abattoir waste streams. The pipeline also includes Iodine-based topical antiseptic products for wound care and products utilizing medical leeches for wound treatment. Development of these pipeline products is expected to occur over 2026 and 2027, with commercial availability subject to regulatory approval. Cuprina Holdings focuses on developing functionally specific chronic wound care products designed to address the major stages of the wound healing process, from chronic to closure.
