Community Trust Bancorp, Inc. (CTBI) is a bank holding company incorporated on August 12, 1980, in Kentucky. CTBI owns all the capital stock of one commercial bank, Community Trust Bank, Inc. (CTB), and one trust company, Community Trust and Investment Company (CTIC). These subsidiaries serve small and mid-sized communities across eastern, northeastern, central, and south central Kentucky, southern West Virginia, and northeastern Tennessee. As of December 31, 2025, CTBI reported total consolidated assets of $6.7 billion, total consolidated deposits, including repurchase agreements, of $5.7 billion, and total shareholders' equity of $856.1 million. Trust assets under management were $4.1 billion, which included CTB's investment portfolio of $1.1 billion. Through its subsidiaries, CTBI provides commercial and personal banking, trust, and wealth management services. These services include accepting time and demand deposits, making secured and unsecured loans to corporations and individuals, and offering cash management services, letters of credit, safe deposit boxes, and funds transfer services. CTB's lending activities encompass commercial, construction, mortgage, and personal loans, as well as lines of credit, revolving lines of credit, term loans, and specialized loans like asset-based financing. The corporate subsidiaries act as trustees for personal trusts and employee benefit trusts, executors of estates, paying agents for bond and stock issues, investment agents, depositories for securities, and providers of full-service brokerage and insurance services. In 2025, CTB's community development lending totaled over $59.6 million.
