BELLA Triplet Data Show 7.2-Month PFS in Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer
CORT has more than doubled off its 52-week low of $28.66 on elevated volume (2.5× avg).
Summary
Corcept reported positive Phase 2 BELLA Part A results for Lifyorli combined with nab-paclitaxel and bevacizumab in 95 platinum-resistant ovarian cancer patients. The triplet delivered median investigator-assessed PFS of 7.2 months versus 5.4 months for Lifyorli plus nab-paclitaxel and 3.9 months for nab-paclitaxel alone in the ROSELLA study, with ORR of 59% versus 37% and 30%. In the roughly half of patients who were bevacizumab-naive, median PFS reached 8.1 months and ORR 66%, with 91% alive at six months. No new safety signals emerged, though the triplet is not approved with bevacizumab. The data support expanding Lifyorli's label and NCCN preferred status beyond the current nab-paclitaxel backbone, which matters because Lifyorli drove Q2 revenue growth of 32% to $256.1M. Full BELLA Part A results will be presented at a medical conference next year.
