ConocoPhillips is an independent exploration and production (E&P) company headquartered in Houston, Texas, with operations and activities in 14 countries. The company explores for, produces, transports, and markets crude oil, bitumen, natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and liquefied natural gas (LNG) globally. Its portfolio includes resource-rich unconventional plays in North America, conventional assets in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, LNG developments, oil sands in Canada, and a global exploration prospect inventory. As of December 31, 2025, ConocoPhillips employed approximately 9,900 people worldwide and had total assets of about $122 billion. Total company production for the year was 2,375 MBOED. The company manages its operations through five geographic operating segments: Alaska; Lower 48; Canada; Europe, Middle East and North Africa; and Asia Pacific. At December 31, 2025, operations were producing in the U.S., Norway, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Libya, China, Qatar, and Equatorial Guinea. ConocoPhillips was incorporated in Delaware in 2001 and completed the separation of its downstream business into Phillips 66 in April 2012.
