The Marine Technology Business supplies underwater technologies and solutions, including hardware and software that it innovates, develops, manufactures, and distributes. Its proprietary imaging sonar technology, marketed as Echoscope, Echoscope PIPE, and Echoscope PIPE NANO Gen Series, is the only sonar capable of generating multiple real-time 3D images of moving underwater objects in zero visibility. This business also launched the DAVD system in 2021, a diving technology that embeds transparent glasses within a diver's Head-up Display (HUD) to show real-time data to both the diver and the surface supervisor. When combined with the Echoscope, the DAVD enables dive operations in zero visibility. The company acquired PAL on October 29, 2024. PAL supplies acoustic sensors and materials to markets including medical, subsea, defense, universities, and research and development institutes. PAL specializes in acoustic hydrophone design and innovative acoustic materials, offering products and solutions primarily for medical imaging and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
