Costamare Inc.

Costamare Inc. is a company incorporated in the Republic of the Marshall Islands on April 21, 2008, and is majority-owned by members of the Konstantakopoulos family. The company was founded in 1974, initially owning and operating dry bulk vessels. In 1984, it became the first Greek-owned company to enter the containership market. From 1992 until June 2021, when it acquired dry bulk vessels and subsequently expanded its dry bulk platform in 2022, Costamare focused exclusively on containerships. Since 1998, Konstantinos Konstantakopoulos has managed the company, focusing on building a large, modern, and reliable fleet supported by skilled personnel. Costamare Inc. completed an initial public offering of its common stock in the United States in November 2010, with shares trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "CMRE" from November 4, 2010. The company completed four follow-on public offerings of its common stock on March 27, 2012, October 19, 2012, December 5, 2016, and May 31, 2017. A Dividend Reinvestment Plan was implemented on July 6, 2016. Costamare Inc. also completed public offerings of its Series B Preferred Stock on August 7, 2013, Series C Preferred Stock on January 21, 2014, Series D Preferred Stock on May 13, 2015, and Series E Preferred Stock on January 30, 2018. On July 15, 2024, the company fully redeemed all 4,574,100 outstanding shares of its Series E Preferred Stock.
