The Company is a value-added information technology ("IT") distribution and solutions company, incorporated in Delaware in 1982. Its common stock is listed on The NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol "CLMB". The Company primarily operates through its "Distribution" segment, known as Climb Channel Solutions, which distributes emerging and disruptive technologies globally to corporate resellers, value-added resellers ("VARs"), consultants, and systems integrators. This segment accounted for approximately 96% of consolidated net sales and 87% of consolidated gross profit for the year ended December 31, 2025. In this segment, the Company purchases software, maintenance/service agreements, networking/storage/security equipment, and complementary products from vendors and sells them to a diverse customer base including VARs, corporate resellers, government resellers, system integrators, direct marketers, and national IT superstores. Most hardware products are drop-shipped directly to customers, minimizing the Company's physical handling and inventory investment. The Company also operates a smaller "Solutions" segment, called Grey Matter, which is a cloud solutions provider and value-added reseller of software, hardware, and services for customers worldwide. Across both segments, the Company offers an extensive line of products from leading software vendors and tools for virtualization/cloud computing, security, networking, storage, infrastructure management, application lifecycle management, and other technically sophisticated domains, as well as computer hardware.
