The company buys commodities from and provides products and services to individual agricultural producers, local cooperatives, and other companies, both domestically and internationally. Products and services range from agricultural inputs like fuels, farm supplies, crop nutrients, and crop protection products to agricultural outputs including grain and oilseed, processed grain and oilseed, renewable fuels, and food products. For the year ended August 31, 2025, total revenues were $35.5 billion and net income attributable to CHS was $597.9 million. CHS operates through two main segments. The Energy segment generates revenue from refining, wholesaling, and retailing petroleum products. The Ag segment derives revenue from originating and marketing grain, including export terminal services; wholesale agronomy sales of crop nutrient and crop protection products; sales of soybean meal, refined soy oil, and soyflour products; production and marketing of renewable fuels; and retail sales of petroleum and agronomy products, processed sunflowers, feed, and farm supplies.
