Constellation Energy Corp

Constellation is the largest private-sector power producer globally and the largest producer of clean and reliable energy in the United States. The company was formed on February 1, 2022, when Exelon separated its competitive generation and customer-facing energy businesses, conducted through Constellation and its subsidiaries, into an independent, publicly traded company. Constellation has been an individual registrant since 2002. On January 7, 2026, Constellation acquired all outstanding equity interests of Calpine in a cash and stock transaction. Following this merger, Constellation operates a fleet with 55 GWs of capacity, utilizing nuclear, natural gas, geothermal, hydro, wind, and solar facilities. This generating capacity is sufficient to power the equivalent of 27 million homes. The company provides approximately 10% of the nation's clean energy and is also the largest nuclear energy company in the U.S.
