Coeur Mining produces and sells precious metals from several operating segments. The Kensington underground gold mine, north of Juneau, Alaska, began operations in 2010. Additionally, the Wharf open pit heap leach gold mine near Lead, South Dakota, started operations in 1982. The company also operates the Silvertip underground silver-zinc-lead exploration project in northern British Columbia, Canada, acquired in 2017. On November 2, 2025, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coeur entered into an agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of New Gold Inc.
